DOPEFISH is not new to the electronic scene. Dopefish is actually the new Electro/Breaks/Booty/Mashup project of the belgian drum & bass DJ SYSTEM-D. DJ System-D has spin the decks since 1989, playing Hip-Hop, New Beat, Old Skool House and Hip-House. He played strickly Hip-Hop from 1991 till 1995. At that he start to play Jungle/Drum & Bass. Today he’s know as one of the best and respected Drum & Bass dj in Belgium, having played everywhere in Belgium, but also in France, Italy, Holland, Spain, Germany, UK,… Early this year (2007), he started a new project called Dopefish, which is th digest of all his musical background. DOPEFISH is all about destroying the dancefloor with a pure mix of electro, electro house, electro funk, hip-hop, breaks, booty, dirty house… keeping the Hip-Hop and turntablism touch, including scratches, beat-juggling, exclusive mash-ups… Dopefish is also producing tracks which are released on his own label, Dopefish Audio.
